Plant / Heavy Excavator Operator - Birmingham - £23.51 PER HOUR (PAYE)
VGC Group are looking for experienced Plant / Heavy Excavator Operators to start on a project in Birmingham. This contract is available to start ASAP and we can offer up to 2 years worth of work for a successful candidate.

Requirements
Valid Blue CPCS Card or NPORS (with CSCS hologram) - essential
Proven experience operating heavy excavators on site
Strong knowledge of plant safety and site operations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Operator Responsibilities
Your role as a Plant / Heavy Excavator Operator will be based in Birmingham and will consist of:
Operating heavy excavators safely and efficiently on site
Carrying out excavation, grading, trenching, and earthmoving tasks
Following site drawings, plans, and instructions from supervisors
Conducting daily pre-start checks and reporting defects
Ensuring machinery is used in line with health & safety regulations
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Communicating effectively with site teams, banksmen, and supervisors
Assisting with general plant-related duties where required
Reporting hazards, near-misses, or incidents promptly
What We Offer
Competitive rate of £23.51 per hour PAYE
