The Electrician role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Warwick. The electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and agricultural settings. Daily tasks include performing inspections, diagnosing faults, troubleshooting electrical issues, and completing remedial works in line with industry standards and company procedures. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, ensuring work is compliant with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate job records and reports.
The electrician will also liaise with clients, coordinate with team members, and uphold health and safety requirements on all sites.
- Strong foundation in electricity and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them safely and effectively on site.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical work, including installation of wiring, fixtures, control systems, and associated components.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, ensuring reliability and safe operation in varied environments.
- Effective troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults in a timely manner.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent), and up‑to‑date knowledge of UK wiring regulations (BS 7671).
- Valid ECS card or equivalent site safety certification, with a strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Warwickshire and surrounding areas; experience in residential, commercial, or agricultural projects is an advantage.
