Following a major investment in state-of-the-art technology, we are looking for a mechanically biased Maintenance Technician to join our established team of maintenance professionals.
If you're tired of working with ageing, unreliable machinery and are seeking a modern, well invested manufacturing environment, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
Our highly facility features advanced production systems, and we are looking for an engineer with strong mechanical maintenance experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and fabrication skills. An understanding of electrical systems and Plc controls would also be advantageous.
You’ll be joining a well-structured, stable maintenance team with strong support, the right resources to do the job effectively and a shift rotation that will see you work very few nights…

Duties of an Maintenance Technician
As a proven Maintenance Technician, you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting a wide range of plant and equipment.
Requirements of a Maintenance Technician
* Recognised Apprenticeship
* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
* Strong mechanical maintenance skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics
* Competent welding and fabrication experience
* An understanding of electrical systems and Plc controls
* Previous experience maintaining plant and equipment within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment
Location:
The role is commutable from Alcester, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Redditch, Studley & Worcester
