Compensation
Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90 per hour. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance premiums which may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Assistant Store Manager ResponsibilitiesThe assistant manager will support the store manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The assistant manager will manage the store during the store manager’s absence or when working opposing shifts, and lead the store team members in servicing customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute on customer service programs (Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
- Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours.
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring team members stay current on their individual training.
- Ensure the telephone is answered in accordance with company policy.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, DC add orders, and special and outside purchases in a timely manner, contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and friendly, refunds are issued accurately and merchandise is staged correctly.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before products leave the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Ensure all team members comply with company policies, including posted work schedule, changes approved by management, and proper clock‑in/out.
- Perform opening and closing duties, day end procedures, verify and secure money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights and alarms, and secure delivery vehicles.
- Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage and lighting, computer hardware, in‑store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.

- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
