Advance your career as an Electroplating Technician at Cinch Connectivity Solutions. You'll direct and maintain all plating and chemical surface finishing processes and related activities. Our Plating team is proud of their contributions, supporting a broad range of internal customers and requests while ensuring the uninterrupted development and manufacturing of high-tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense.
Responsibilities- Perform chemical analysis on plating bathes and waste plant discharge.
- Prepare procedures and controls for processes employed in the plating lab.
- Develop, perform, and interpret test analysis and results to evaluate chemical processes.
- Train personnel for proper setup and process procedures to clean and plate using the correct methods, correct measuring devices, process control methods, etc.
- Manage waste streams and effectively treat and store hazardous waste.
- Participate in ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification.
- Monitor process operating parameters and correct deviations from established set points.
- Perform hands‑on surface finishing operations.
- Prioritize work orders per documented procedures.
What You'll Need
- Two‑year degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent discipline, or relevant chemical and technical experience.
- One or more years' experience in relevant plating and/or chemical processes, which includes titration, atomic absorption, and wastewater treatment experience.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
