Registered Nurse (RN)

Saratoga Medical is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Federal Correctional Institution in Waseca, Minnesota. We offer a competitive salary, PTO, paid holidays, medical benefits and the wonderful opportunity to provide care and services to our women.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must have one year of experience as a Registered Nurse and one year of experience in a correctional environment is preferred
• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and have graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Monitor and evaluate response to therapy
• Maintain accurate logs of all reports in accordance with Bureau of Prisons and AAAHC Policy
• Assist mid-level practitioners and physicians in the management and oversight of chronic care clinics
• Possess knowledge of treatment of chronic health problems, i.e., hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• BLS (must obtain an in-person Basic Life Support certification prior to your start date)
