Responsibilities- Manage EHS budgets to include Safety Programs, PPE, Medical Supplies, Medical Tests, Waste Removal, & Environmental Services
- Manage EHS Programs to include hazardous & solid waste programs; wastewater & stormwater programs; first responders; fork truck safety; industrial hygiene & medical surveillance programs
- Facilitate relationships with vendors, external agencies, corporate partners to ensure regulatory compliance & benchmarking of best practices
- Assists with EHS Regulatory & Standard compliance
- Responsible for performing job hazard analysis, identifying risks, & providing PPE as needed to mitigate risks that cannot be eliminated
- Manage incident reporting via SAP Incident Management System and assists with mandatory corporate EHS reporting
- Participates in and leads EHS Audits internally and externally
- Participates on task teams to design & implement new EHS programs or standards
- Recommends plant improvements in the areas of occupational safety & environmental exposure reduction.
- Participates in and leads Continuous Improvement Reviews for resolution of EHS issues
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of manufacturing or Environmental, Health, and Safety experience
- Working knowledge of SAP, Google Suite, and Excel
- Technical College/Vocational school certificate or Associate's degree in related areas of manufacturing
- OSHA 30 Hour Course
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to develop and express ideas
- Strong Planning and organizational skills/project management skills
- Problem assessment and problem solving skills
Salary Range $64,000.00 - $87,500.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
