Retail Store Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Retail Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading, coaching, and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of employees so that their development meets the company standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
• Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
• Ensure that operating standards meet or exceed company standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• Ability to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work over 45 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed.

The base pay rate is competitive and ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, with the potential added to a lucrative monthly bonus. Store Managers also receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit; additional details will be provided during the interview process.
