Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization with operations across several business lines in Oakville, Washington. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple entities while supporting timely close activities and dependable reporting for leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, brings strong general ledger knowledge, and can balance precision with practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for several related entities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and consistently across each business.

• Prepare and analyze general ledger reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and maintaining the integrity of financial data.

• Record journal entries and support monthly closing tasks to help deliver complete and timely financial results.

• Maintain fixed asset records, including asset setup, capitalization, depreciation tracking, and schedule updates.

• Produce financial statements and assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting needed by management.

• Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting efforts, forecast updates, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

• Apply accounting policies uniformly across all entities and help strengthen compliance with internal standards.

• Recommend and implement improvements that simplify accounting workflows and increase efficiency in a multi-entity environment.
