Location: McChord Air Force Base
Duties The primary purpose of this position: is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) enlisted position in the Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS). As such, the incumbent will administer and direct the Group Commander's Support Staff functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Additionally, trains Reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
* Plans, organizes, and oversees the full complement of activities within the Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS). Manages personnel, unit training and administrative programs management as well as continuous improvement initiatives within the CSS.
* Plans, organizes and executes all Group information management and personnel activities. Oversees the preparation, maintenance, and disposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence.
* Manages training programs for administration (3A1X1) and personnel (3S0X1) in accordance with established command guidelines.
* Serves as the Group point of contact and liaison with the servicing Force Support Squadron on personnel and manpower actions.
* Prepares and delivers presentations such as briefings, training sessions, and consultations with serviced Commander(s), other staff agencies and functional areas to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters and convey information.
* Participates in special studies and projects relating to planning, coordinating, and analyzing the effectiveness/efficiency of the Group CSS in meeting Air Force Administration program goals. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance.

* AFSC: 3F0X1 Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions for the 0301 series. EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade, GS-07, level or band (or equivalent in other pay systems). Examples of specialized experience is applying personnel policies, procedures, rules, guidelines, and/or instructions, to understand respective programs and discuss findings with functional manager. Identifyng and recommending solutions to problems in an organizational structure, staffing, administrative procedures, working processes or workload distribution.
Making reports, correspondence, and extracting data using knowledge of administrative processes, procedures automated systems, personal computers, and software employed.

EDUCATION:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or L.L.B., or J.D., if related, in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of this position. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND
EDUCATION:
A combination of graduate level education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE:
