The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the non-permanent position of Warehouse Operator 2 at Clallam Bay Corrections Center.
Clallam Bay Corrections Center is a 900 bed male facility located on the point of the Olympic Peninsula. It is 50 miles west of Port Angeles and looks out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca at Vancouver Island. This facility houses medium and close custody incarcerated individuals. CBCC also operates a Restricted Housing Unit.

ResponsibilitiesDeliver incarcerated individual store to each living unit in accordance with the Correctional Industries Offender Store Delivery Procedures.
- Issue individually bagged store requests to incarcerated individuals.
- Collect incarcerated individuals’ requests from housing units and scan to MCC for processing.
- Ensure variances in store deliveries are clearly documented and the information is returned to Correctional Industries.
- Prioritize workload and complete daily store delivery tasks in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
Process property being shipped by Fed Ex
- Securely package all items shipped in accordance with Fed Ex regulations.
- Maintain documentation of the packages being shipped Fed Ex in logbook, including assigned tracking numbers.
- Accurately complete shipping labels and postage transfers.
Logs and maintains accountability of property stored in upper property area.
- Maintain logbooks of incoming and outgoing property.
- Ensure information logged is written clearly, factually and concisely.
- Place incoming property in proper storage area.
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of clerical or technical experience in retail clerking, warehousing, stock keeping, shipping or receiving and operation of material handling equipment.
