Job Title
This position involves a variety of contracting functions related to the acquisition of supplies and services.
DutiesThe duties include:
- Performing pre and post award contracting functions associated with the acquisition of supplies and services.
- Researching and applying new and creative means of contracting.
- Mentoring others.
- Reviewing requirements packages and recommending or determining the most appropriate method of procurement, and preparing pertinent solicitation documents and justification.
- Reviewing all requirements that seek to limit competition and fully justifying the acquisition of spare parts.
- Performing detailed analysis of bids or proposals received, analyzing price and complex cost data, and utilizing cost analysis information provided by agency auditors.
