Job Description

Compensation:
Hourly wage: $20-25 per hour;
Overtime wage: $30-37.50 per hour.

We are looking for babysitters, daycare workers, nannies, or church nursery volunteers to care for children ranging from toddlers to elementary school age. Positions are available in Fall City, 20-40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday during traditional working hours.

• Provide care for children in their homes.
• Engage children in safe, age-appropriate activities such as play, reading, arts and crafts.
• Communicate regularly with parents and coworkers about child progress and any concerns.
• Ensure clean‑up of activity supplies and meals while in the child’s home.
• Work between 7 am–7 pm, 6–9 hour shifts, available at least two days per week.
• Never drive or transport children; the care is kept within the family’s home.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of day‑to‑day childcare experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for commuting to assignments.
• Strong understanding of child‑development and ability to plan hands‑on activities.
• Good communication skills with parents and coworkers.
• Availability for 6–9 hour shifts, 2+ days per week, between 7 am–7 pm.
• Reliability and dependability are essential; families rely on you.
• Ability to provide three references: two related to child care, one character reference.

• Work environment is active, child‑centric, and includes cleanup of activities.
• Some time may be spent outdoors, weather permitting.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, squat, reach, and push regularly.
• React quickly and calmly to emergent situations.
