Special Education Teacher – Vocational/Transition (Grades 9‑12)

Pay: $53,053 – $60,480.42 annually for Special Education Certified (SPED) teachers.

- Collaborate formally and informally with Teaching Assistants, OT/Speech Therapists, Social Workers, Nursing, Behavior Specialists and school leaders.
- Implement PBIS campus approaches (5:1 praise to corrective feedback ratio) with high fidelity.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required (Master’s preferred).
- Connecticut Special Education Teaching Certificate required.
- Three years of educational experience preferred.
- Special education experience preferred.
