Under general supervision, the seasonal apprentice (intern) assists a designated tradesperson (e.g., electrician, HVAC technician) in performing trade-related duties while receiving structured on-the-job training and technical instruction.
- Works under the direct supervision of an experienced tradesperson to learn trade-specific techniques.
- Organizes, cleans, and prepares tools and equipment, and assists with material handling and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Must be currently attending J. M. Wright Technical High School and participating in a trade program.
NOTEEmployment is seasonal for June, July, August, and September, not to exceed 119 days.
