The Construction Manager is responsible for the planning solar construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key responsibilities will include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the solar projects. As the Construction Manager, this person will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, this position will ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.
Expertise in solar projects and project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful solar construction projects.
This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Pomeroy, WA and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
PositionResponsibilities And Duties:
- Responsible for planning, executing, and supervising construction and solar projects from inception to completion.
- Project scheduling, budget management, workforce coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee administrative tasks, such as contract negotiation, procurement, and document management, to maintain project documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from conception to completion.
- Regular site inspections are conducted to maintain quality and safety standards, and they manage all documentation and reports.
- Responsible for addressing project-related issues and ensuring the adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Enforce and promote a culture of safety on-site, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain high construction quality standards and ensure that work meets project specifications and client expectations.
- Keep accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours worked.
- Maintain open and effective communication with other project manager(s), engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Documentation and record-keeping.
- Safety protocol implementation and monitoring.

- Resolve on-site issues and changes in project scope.
- Maintain project documentation and reports.

- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration and/or (2-4) years of related experience.

- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and compliance.

- Relevant certifications in construction management are advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR / First Aid Certified
