Dental Assistant I, II, or III (Posting #27173)

Hourly Range: $21.69 - $23.57

Full‑time Dental Assistant position available at White Center Dental Clinic. The assistant will support the dental provider in delivering dental procedures as permitted by the Washington State Dental Practice Act, including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and other procedures as allowed.

Major duties include maintaining proper records for MSDS, spore testing, inventory of supplies, assisting in training new staff, and organizing schedules.

• Assist provider in restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, orthodontic, oral surgery, and other dentistry procedures.
• Maintain MSDS, spore test records, and dental supply inventory.
• Assist in training new Dental Assistants and help organize schedules.

• Valid Washington State license and BLS certification.
• Organizational skills and dental record experience.
• Computer proficiency.
• Excellent customer service skills; able to communicate in English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Previous orthodontic experience preferred.

Must have completed a formal Dental Assistant program and at least 6 months of work experience. If no formal training, a minimum of 18 months of experience is required.

Must be knowledgeable of sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, including quality improvement. Must be able to duplicate and mount radiographs, take impressions, pour and trim models, place temporary restorations, and perform other advanced procedures.

Must have 2 years of experience; if no formal training, a minimum of 3 years is required.
