WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Your responsibilities typically include:

  • Performing routine dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and calculus
  • Applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
  • Taking digital x-rays
  • Assessing patient’s oral health & identifying signs of disease
  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene
  • Discussing treatment plans and preventative care with patients
  • Assisting dentists during procedures if needed
  • Documenting patient care and treatment plans accurately
  • Ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized
  • Maintaining patient records and medical histories
  • Adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Keeping up to date with dental regulations & industry best practices
