Dental Assistant - Relief

Responsibilities involve updating medical records, performing X-rays, assisting with exams, mixing materials, monitoring nitrous oxide (WA only), educating patients, sterilizing instruments, and assisting in orthodontics. Lead duties may include managing department flow, training staff, and acting as a liaison.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification within 90 days, valid dental assistant registration or EFDA certification, bilingual skills (English/Spanish), basic knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and proficiency in electronic records and office software. Dental assistants must obtain registration within 7 days of hire unless approved otherwise.
