Dental Assistant - Relief - Part Time

Join our team as a Relief Dental Assistant and contribute to community health services.

• Updating patient medical records and conducting X-ray procedures, including panoramic images and intraoral photographs
• Recording periodontal charting and preparing instruments for provider exams
• Performing preventative care such as fluoride treatments and monitoring nitrous oxide analgesia (WA only)
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and assisting with infection control and instrument sterilization
• Assisting in orthodontic procedures, including obtaining records and fabricating retainers
• Potentially performing lead duties by managing departmental workflow, training staff, and acting as liaison

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS certification within 90 days
• Dental Assistant registration or EFDA certification (must be obtained within 7 days of hire)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) at level 10 for differential pay
• Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and oral health education
• Proficiency in four-handed assisting, manual dexterity, and electronic record systems
