Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.;
Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.;
Saturdays as needed, 7:30a - 12p

Position Summary:
Responsible for oversight and supervision of daily back-office operations, clinical flow, and staff; ensuring implementation and compliance with all HealthPoint policies and procedures.
Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Establish priorities and guidelines for maintaining efficient and expedient workflow for the dental center back office, keeping Dental Assistants and Dentists advised of potential problem areas and recommending/implementing solutions as appropriate.
- Address back-office situations that require an immediate response in the absence of the Site Manager.
- Coordinate daily Dental Assistant assignments to ensure efficient back-office operations and completion of required duties.
- Facilitate the ordering of back-office supplies according to HealthPoint procedures and budget.
- Facilitate communications among the Dental Assistant staff regarding procedures, changes, clarifications, and distribution of pertinent materials.
- Responsible for maintaining time keeping records and establishing and maintaining daily staffing.
- Responsible for hiring, performance management, recognition, and training of Dental Assistants. Also responsible for providing guidance, coaching, counseling, conflict resolution, employee relations, and career development of Dental Assistants by providing effective leadership. Ensure all work is completed in support and enhancement of the objectives and goals of the organization.
- Facilitate equipment maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and schedule repairs in a timely manner as needed.
- Provide assistance with establishing and maintaining daily staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage for clinic.
- Provide assistance to Site Manager in planning and ensuring productivity goals are met for the dental clinic.
- Provide assistance with the monitoring of patient care, patient tracking, patient records management, and data collection.
- Provide assistance in the creation, updating, distribution and retention of HealthPoint's policies and procedures and other informational items pertaining to the back office.
- Assist with facilitating in site meetings, in-service meetings, community partner meetings, organizational committees, and task force activities as required.
- Must perform all duties required of HealthPoint Dental Assistants at expected performance levels.
- Maintains good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.

- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline and enhance office operations using the HealthPoint Lean Management System (HLMS) tools and processes.
- This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:
- Certificate from a Dental Assistant program. Three (3) to five (5) years Dental Assistant experience in a dental clinic/office setting preferred and supervisory experience in medical setting preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
