BOOKKEEPER //3877 is IMMEDIATELY looking for a bookkeeper with a great attitude, willingness to teach and learn, serious motivation and a daily quest to do good work while smiling (the ability to quote comedic films is a plus). We are busy with several projects and excellent clients on board. We offer great healthcare benefits, 401k and beer on tap.
Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Assist the Director of Finance in the daily administration of business operations.
- Prepare reports as needed for various projects, including financial, administrative, and human resources.
- Accounts receivable calls, emails and maintenance.
- Draft preparation of monthly invoices.
- Assist with clerical duties as needed (e.g., Employee Handbook upkeep).
- Timesheet entries for off-site workers.
- Assist with administration of company benefits.
- Tangible Requirements:
- Diploma from a recognized college in Accounting, Economics and/or Business.
- A minimum of 2 years full-time experience in a similar position (within the last year).
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), email and internet.
- Strong organization and attention to detail; ability to be proactive and take initiative; ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ajera experience is ideal.
