Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments while fostering positive supplier relationships.
- Verify, review, and input invoices into the accounting system, maintaining proper documentation.
- Support month-end close activities by handling AP-related financial tasks.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues within AP transactions.
- Create, update, and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for AP processes.
- Facilitate employee training sessions on SOPs and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and improve accounting workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
- Provide documentation and support during periodic audits. Requirements - Proficiency in managing journal entries and general ledger tasks.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice management.
- Experience using accounting software to enter and process invoices.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with Concur or similar expense management tools.
- Ability to develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills for resolving AP discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
