LHH has partnered with a high-growth technology company that is looking to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to their team. This is a newly created role designed to suport the Accounting Manager and Controller.
Best suited for candidates comfortable with a fast‑paced environment where you'll be part of setting up the company's accounting & finance infrastructure + systems. Great visibility with leadership and strong ability for progression.
Responsibilities- Lead core accounting operations including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and month‑end close activities across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Maintain financial records and controls, providing thorough documentation to support internal and external audit requirements while helping to strengthen internal accounting processes.
- Monitor and analyze general ledger activity, investigating variances, validating account balances, and ensuring appropriate classification across business units.
- Support preparation of financial reporting packages, supplying accurate actuals and analytical insights to finance leadership, FP&A partners, and operational teams.
- Participate in audit readiness and coordination, creating schedules, responding to requests, and improving audit‑related procedures to support compliance and organizational transparency.
- Assist with system enhancements and ERP optimization, including improvements to workflows, reporting modules, and data quality within platforms such as Net Suite or comparable systems.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and technical teams to ensure financial data accuracy, support forecasting inputs, and improve end‑to‑end accounting processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and simplification to reduce manual effort and enhance overall accounting efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field, advanced degrees/CPA preferred
- 3-6 years of experience; ideally with a background in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP required
- Experience with IFRS a plus
- Experience with inventory accounting a plus
- Proficiency with ERP platforms such as Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or Business Central, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large datasets preferred
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable in fast‑paced, scaling environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work on tight timelines
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across financial and operational teams
