BOOKKEEPER //3877 is IMMEDIATELY looking for a bookkeeper with a great attitude, willingness to teach and learn, serious motivation and a daily quest to do good work while smiling (the ability to quote comedic films is a plus). We are busy with several projects and excellent clients on board. We offer great healthcare benefits, 401k and beer on tap.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Assist the Director of Finance in the daily administration of business operations.
  • Prepare reports as needed for various projects, including financial, administrative, and human resources.
  • Accounts receivable calls, emails and maintenance.
  • Draft preparation of monthly invoices.
  • Assist with clerical duties as needed (e.g., Employee Handbook upkeep).
  • Timesheet entries for off-site workers.
  • Assist with administration of company benefits.
Qualifications
  • Tangible Requirements:
  • Diploma from a recognized college in Accounting, Economics and/or Business.
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time experience in a similar position (within the last year).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), email and internet.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail; ability to be proactive and take initiative; ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ajera experience is ideal.
  • Intangible Requirements:
  • Damn good attitude.
  • Willingness to teach and learn.
  • Serious motivation.
  • Daily desire to do good work.
