Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and improve accounting controls and procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare journal entries and accruals
• Support internal and external audits
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying variances
• Assist with tax preparation and regulatory filings
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff
  
  Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred

• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with financial reporting and general ledger management
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP (or IFRS if applicable)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Quick Books)
