Accounting Manager, Finance & Business Services
The A ccounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting and finance functions of Global Impact for the Finance & Business Services (FBS) d epartment. The y will manage f iscal s ponsor ship and f iscal a gency client communication and deliverables and manage FBS staff to ensure that all necessary compliance activities are fulfilled.
Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day internal controls and operations, leading team members in the department
- Review and issue timely clientdeliverableswith analysis toensure accurate information has been recorded and reported to clients and stakeholders
- Client cash and investment management
- Develop and manage annual budget andcashforecasting system for clients
- Manage auditandtax process for entities and complete reporting for entities on a timely basis
- Manage and coach the accounting staff; ensure the team delivers the highest standard of departmental, cross-departmental, and external teamwork as well as customer service
- Managefiscalservices client relationships and stakeholders (legal, insurance, IT, banking committeesandboard members) on behalf of clients
- Supervision of Senior Accountants
Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor ’ s degree in accounting or a related field and 8 – 10 years of progressive , nonprofit experience in accounting. You have experience with donor grant agreements, grant management, and restricted grant accounting (including net asset tracking and indirect allocation accounting). You have knowledge of banking cash management systems, Quick Books Online and/or Net Suite, Bill .com
, and MS Office including in-depth use of Excel.
This is a full-time position and maybe fully remote, with travel to headquarters in Washington, D.C.for team meetings on occasion.
Local employees are in a hybrid work model, with 1-4 days per month in our Washington, D.C. headquarters office.

The salary range is $105,000-$120,000, depending on the experience you have.
