Job Description:
The Federal Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager will lead complex assessments of GFEBS posting logic and ensure compliance with the USSGL. This includes:
- Conducting quarterly analyses of GFEBS posting logic
- Identifying and resolving non-compliant scenarios
- Drafting and executing SCRs and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
- Performing root cause analysis on IPA-issued NFRs
- Communicating data categorization issues and SOP updates
- Supporting Army and Service Provider stakeholders in system remediation
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of USSGL and federal financial accounting/reporting
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and communication capabilities
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Business Management, or CPA/CISA/PMP/CGFM/CDFM
- 4 years of experience with federal financial management
- 2 years of federal accounting experience
