Senior Manager
The Senior Manager shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer (KO) and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The Senior Manager shall be the senior level employee provided by the Contractor for this work effort. During any absence of the Senior Manager, an alternate shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to work performed under this task order.
The Senior Manager and designated alternates shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
General duties include:
- Providing general ad hoc, internal controls over financial reporting electronic filing, and program management support to CG-834.
- Conducting analyses to verify and validate USCG processes/controls and providing accounting and financial management assistance.
- Supporting CG-834's management review over obligation balance accuracy.
- Providing expert support in maintaining, refining, and carrying out a comprehensive obligation lifecycle management strategy.
- Maintaining and updating an analytical tool in SharePoint or any software within CG IT enterprise that identifies and prioritizes high-risk obligations for CG-834 management review.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or bachelor's degree with an active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification, and 7 years of relevant work experience (5 of which must be federal government work experience).
- Certified Public Accounting (CPA)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certified may be substituted for the CPA requirement.
- Experience auditing federal agencies financial statements or performing audits readiness work in the Department of Homeland Security as a government employee or contractor directly in support of an audit readiness task order.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- The ability to maintain strict confidence.
- The ability to communicate (written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner.
- The ability to use Microsoft Office tools.
- The ability to simplify processes and procedures.
