Payroll Specialist

Description

A growing organization is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role will work closely with accounting, HR, and management teams to process payroll, maintain employee records, and assist with payroll-related reporting and compliance activities.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and process payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

+ Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments for accuracy

+ Maintain employee payroll records and update payroll information as needed

+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and pay discrepancies

+ Reconcile payroll-related accounts and assist with month-end activities

+ Support payroll tax filings and compliance requirements

+ Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed

+ Partner with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee and payroll data

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of payroll processing experience

+ Knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements

+ Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
