We are currently working with several clients in various industries that are looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. These companies are based in the DC Metro area and many of the roles are on a hybrid basis, open to candidates coming out of public accounting as well. The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role would be responsible for preparing the financial statements, supervising a team, maintaining the general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, assisting with the month-end closing, posting journal entries and assisting with other projects.

Daily responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include:
- Perform month-end close.
- Supervise accounting team.
- General ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Post various journal entries.
