We are seeking experienced Directors to oversee multiple complex federal financial statement audit engagements. The selected candidates will be responsible for overseeing engagement teams, providing technical direction, reviewing work papers and deliverables, and ensuring audit work is performed in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple federal financial statement audit engagements within basic to complex agreed-upon scopes.
• Ensure engagement teams properly perform audit planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting activities.
• Review necessary work papers completed by managers and other engagement team members.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to engagement team members on complex audit matters.
• Ensure work across multiple engagements is performed in accordance with GAGAS, GAAS, federal accounting standards, and applicable requirements.
• Review audit findings, analyses, recommendations, reports, and other complex engagement deliverables.
• Develop and review complex audit deliverables and provide quality control reviews of engagements.
• Monitor engagement progress, identify risks and issues, and ensure appropriate resolution.
• Coordinate with client personnel and engagement leadership to ensure successful completion of audit objectives.
• Provide guidance and oversight to engagement teams to ensure deliverables meet established quality standards and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation may be substituted for the CPA designation only in the case of Performance audits.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience managing or supervising federal financial statement audits, examinations, and evaluations.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing complex federal audit engagements and multiple engagement teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal auditing standards, financial management requirements, and applicable accounting principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide complex technical direction and perform quality control reviews.
• Must possess or be capable of obtaining a "Q" clearance.
