Senior Financial Auditor

We are seeking experienced Senior Financial Auditors to support complex federal financial statement audit engagements. Selected candidates will support audit planning, fieldwork, testing, documentation, and reporting in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and federal financial management requirements.

• Perform financial statement audit procedures in accordance with GAGAS, GAAS, OMB guidance, and federal accounting standards.
• Execute audit testing of financial transactions, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Support risk-based audit planning, including understanding business processes and assessing internal controls.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality audit work papers that clearly document procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached.
• Assist with preparation of audit findings, recommendations, management letters, and other engagement deliverables.
• Analyze financial data and supporting documentation to identify potential deficiencies, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with audit team members and client personnel to complete assignments within established schedules.
• Support reviews of federal financial systems, accounting processes, and related internal controls.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting and auditing experience.
• Experience supporting financial statement audits, internal control reviews, or compliance audits.
• Knowledge of federal auditing standards, including GAGAS (Yellow Book), or similar governmental audit standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop clear, organized audit documentation.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Experience supporting federal agency financial statement audits.
• Experience with CFO Act audits, OIG audits, or federal financial management engagements.
• Familiarity with OMB Circular A-136, FASAB standards, Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), and USSGL.
• Prior federal or large complex government audit experience.
• Current or prior eligibility for federal security clearance.

Clearance:
Top Secret or "Q" Clearance Preferred

Candidates may hold one or more of the following certifications:
