Schedule: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days/week in office

Salary: $105,000–$110,00, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates

NRI Staffing is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Coordinator for a prominent law firm in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a billing professional with significant law firm experience who is comfortable managing complex billing portfolios, working directly with attorneys and clients, and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full monthly billing cycle, including reviewing, editing, finalizing, and submitting client invoices.
  • Handle complex billing arrangements, including multi-payor, fixed-fee, and split billing.
  • Serve as a primary contact for client billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
  • Partner with attorneys, legal assistants, accounting teams, and e-billing staff to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Research billing data and provide detailed analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with client billing guidelines and firm policies.
  • Mentor junior team members and share billing best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and workflows.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of law firm billing/accounting experience, including complex billing matters.
  • 5+ years of experience with Elite 3E, Elite Enterprise, or Aderant
    .
  • Strong preference for candidates with at least 2 years of Elite 3E experience
    .
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated job stability, ideally with at least 3 years in prior positions.
