Pay Rate: $26–$33/hour

Location: On-site – DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)

Step into a critical role supporting government audit initiatives while working alongside an established prime contractor’s management team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys autonomy, and is ready to make an immediate impact.

• Collaborate directly with the prime contractor’s leadership team as a trusted representative
• Plan, execute, and support state government audits in accordance with regulatory standards
• Analyze financial records, internal controls, and compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting of billable hours
• Travel to client sites throughout the DMV area on a daily basis
• Deliver high-quality audit work independently with minimal onboarding

• Experience in auditing within a public accounting firm
• Hands-on involvement with federal and/or state government audits
• Knowledge of government auditing standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book preferred)
• Strong discipline in time tracking and reporting
• Ability to hit the ground running with little supervision
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills

• Daily on-site travel within the DMV area is required
• This role is best suited for local candidates comfortable with commuting
• Travel expenses are not reimbursed
• Hourly contract position with immediate start
