As a Senior Accountant, you’re primarily responsible for collecting, reconciling, and summarizing accounting information, entering data into different accounting software, and generating financial reports for international and grant recipient clients.
Primary Responsibilities- Month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Annual budgets and ad hoc reports
- Reviewing, approving, andmonitoringaccounts payable and receivables
- Vendor management, including due diligence and contracting
- Tracking restricted funder grants including monthly
Bv Areports - Serving as a main point of contact for client financial needs, including project management support, vendor and subgrantee contracts,reporting, auditing, and preparing 990 and related tax forms
- Operational needs, including liaising with internal departments such as IT and HR/Payroll
Qualifying for this role means you have abachelor’s degree in accounting, b usiness a dministration and 4+ years of e xperience in p ublic a ccounting and n on p rofit a ccounting. A CPA or CPA candidate is desirable. Must have p roficien cy with Excel,Office 365,Quick Books Online and/or Net Suite, , and banking platforms . Hands‑on experience with client relations, grant management and tracking, as well as international nonprofit organizations, is preferred.

Salary Range$80,000 – $85,000
