Role: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract)
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Fully onsite, five days per week
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $28 - $30 / hour

- 2+ years of accounts receivable experience
- Experience with invoicing, cash applications, and account reconciliation
- Strong collections and customer follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore five days per week
- Available to begin a contract assignment promptly
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Apply cash receipts, ACH payments, checks, and credit card payments
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account balances
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Assist with month-end close and accounts receivable reporting
- Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to resolve billing concerns
