Title: Document Management Specialist
Client: Federal Agency
Location: Hybrid – Falls Church, VA – requires 3 days in the office
Clearance: Public Trust
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
Work Schedule: 8 am – 5 pm
Work Day: Monday – Friday

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Document Management Specialist will support organizational effectiveness by ensuring accurate document control, consistent formatting, and proper version management across teams. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at establishing and maintaining document repositories and workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Manage document control processes, including versioning, tracking, and repository organization.
- Edit, format, and standardize documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain and administer SharePoint sites or equivalent document management systems.
- Ensure documentation is easily accessible, well structured, and consistently maintained.
- Support teams with document intake, updates, distribution, and archival procedures.
- Hands-on experience with document control and versioning processes.
- Strong writing, editing, and formatting capabilities.
- Proficiency with document management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in records management practices and retention policies.
- Prior experience supporting government correspondence or compliance-related documentation.
- Familiarity with government standards, templates, and routing processes.
