Job Description

Bryce Tech has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant - Senior to support the Under Secretary of Defense/Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (USD/DUSD(R&E)) Front Office; (2) the Offices of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (OASD) for Science and Technology (S&T), Mission Capabilities (MC), and Critical Technologies (CT); and (3) Deputy Secretary of Defense (DSD). The Executive Assistant - Senior shall manage daily office operations, including maintaining a professional environment with knowledge of Senior Executive Service protocols, coordinating meetings, visitors, correspondence, travel (DTS), records, mail, and CATMS tracking, and demonstrating advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing timely, high-quality support to executive-level principals in complex, fast-paced environments requiring strong critical thinking, initiative, problem-solving, and professional judgment.
  • Responsible for applying analytic approaches to address client needs and plan and implement strategic direction.
  • Responsible for providing executive-level administrative assistant support to senior leaders in government, military (DoD Flag/General Officers), or private-sector organizations.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining complex calendars and schedules for R&E senior leaders.
  • Responsible managing all public interactions, including answering and routing calls, greeting and escorting high-level officials, serving as the office point of contact for inquiries, and exercising sound judgment to determine the nature of requests in person or by phone.
  • Responsible for drafting and processing high-quality correspondence, memos, and taskers in accordance with office standards, tracking actions as directed by senior staff and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Responsible for coordinating administrative functions including security administration, clearance and visit processing, event scheduling, supply ordering, and maintaining a professional front office environment through clear communication with Government staff and leadership.
  • Responsible for processing and routing incoming mail and electronic communications, maintaining front office equipment and supplies, and properly handling and disposing of classified materials in accordance with DoD destruction procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining and archiving electronic and paper records in accordance with applicable policies and SOPs, ensuring accountability, accessibility, and retrieval of historical documents.
  • Responsible for providing logistical support for domestic and international travel for R&E senior leaders and staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required in any field of study.
  • 10 years of demonstrated relevant experience is required.
  • Four (4) years of specialized experience including military or industry executive assistant experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional bearing in all meetings, briefings and discussions with senior staff.
