Key responsibilities:
- Administrative Leadership & Team Development: Oversee and support the Legal Administrative Assistants, including staffing, onboarding, training, and performance management, while fostering a culture of engagement and recognition.
- Workflow & Process Optimization: Design and implement efficient administrative workflows, policies, and training programs that meet evolving firm needs.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with attorneys, operations, facilities, and trial support to align processes and ensure seamless administrative support across offices.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage resources and budgets with an eye toward efficiency, cost control, and service excellence.
- Continuous Improvement & Engagement: Introduce best practices, support firmwide initiatives such as summer associate programming, and help strengthen the firm's culture through ongoing enhancements.
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- Proven track record of managing administrative teams and implementing new processes
- Strong project management skills to take concepts from planning through execution
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across attorneys and staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems
