Position: PIV Administrator with Security Clearance
One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a highly capable PIV Administrator to support a Federal Government client. This position supports federal suitability processing, background investigation workflows, and Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentialing in accordance with HSPD 12, FIPS 201 2, and OPM personnel security requirements. The PIV Administrator performs identity verification, documentation review, data entry into federal systems, appointment scheduling, and PIV card lifecycle activities while maintaining strict control of sensitive information and supporting daily operations of the Personnel Security Division.

PIV Administrator Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and prepare security and suitability documentation for federal employees, contractors, and grantees.

• Verify forms for completeness and accuracy in accordance with OPM, HSPD 12, and agency standards.

• Enter, update, and track candidate information in federal systems such as e QIP, CVS, and internal case-tracking databases.

• Initiate National Agency Checks and support case progression through investigation and adjudication stages.

• Organize, index, file, and maintain both electronic and paper case files in compliance with Privacy Act and SBU/PII handling requirements.

• Coordinate and schedule fingerprinting appointments, security interviews, and credentialing activities.

• Perform PIV enrollment, activation, photo capture, biometric collection, PIN resets, renewals, reprints, and lifecycle management.

• Support the HSPD 12 Credentialing Office by issuing PIV cards and ensuring proper physical and logical access levels.

• Provide customer service and guidance to applicants, agency staff, HR partners, and program offices regarding suitability, security forms, and credentialing procedures.

• Maintain secure storage and handling of sensitive materials, safeguarding all PII and SBU information.

• Support administrative duties including reception coverage, answering phones, scheduling, and routing visitors.

• Prepare weekly and monthly status updates, activity logs, and case-tracking reports for Security leadership.

• Coordinate with Human Resources, Contracts, and other agency components to ensure accurate and timely onboarding processing.

• Assist senior Personnel Security staff with special assignments and process improvement activities as directed. PIV Administrator

Qualifications:

• Public Trust Eligible and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of administrative, security, or personnel vetting support experience.

• Familiarity with Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) principles and HSPD 12 credentialing requirements.

• Knowledge of federal personnel security forms, suitability processes, and investigative documentation standards.

• Experience working with federal systems such as e QIP, CVS, or other security/vetting portals preferred.

• Ability to manage and organize PII, SBU, and sensitive materials in accordance with federal guidelines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation review, and case management.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint) and standard office equipment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with applicants, security personnel, and agency stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support high-volume security processing. About OFS
