* Summary:
** University Event Scheduling is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented student to join our team! This part-time position offers hands-on experience with event scheduling systems and campus operations. As a student scheduling assistant, you will help process and manage space reservations through the EMS scheduling system, respond to emails and phone calls from event organizers, and support a variety of operational and database maintenance tasks.

* Essential Functions:
*** Provide front-line office coverage, including answering the main phone line, responding to general inquiries, and welcoming walk-in guests.
* Review and process space requests in the EMS scheduling system, paying strict attention to University space policies and scheduling restrictions.
* Communicate with clients via email and phone about questions or concerns related to their event requests, offering alternatives and coordinating with campus schedulers as needed.
* Assist with managing user access and data updates in EMS.
** Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
*** Part-time.
* 15 hours per week.
** Salary Range:*** $18.40 per hour.

Education and Experience:
*** Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to producing quality work.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Interest and ability to work with technology and process large amounts of information.
* Professionalism and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
** Preferred
Education and Experience:
*** Preference for candidates who can commit to at least one full academic year (excluding summers); a two-year commitment is preferred.
