Job Description SummaryUniversity Event Scheduling is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented student to join our team! This part-time position offers hands-on experience with event scheduling systems and campus operations. Asa student scheduling assistant, you will help process and manage space reservations through the EMS scheduling system, respond toemails and phone calls from event organizers, and support a varietyof operational and database maintenance tasks.
Essential Functions- Provide front-line office coverage, including answering themain phone line, responding to general inquiries, and welcoming walk-in guests.
- Review and process space requests in the EMS scheduling system,paying strict attention to University space policies and scheduling restrictions.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone about questions or concerns related to their event requests, offering alternatives and coordinating with campus schedulers as needed.
- Assist with managing user access and data updates in EMS.
- Part-time.
- 15 hours per week.
- $18.40 per hour.
Education and Experience
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to producing quality work.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Interest and ability to work with technology and process large amounts of information.
- Professionalism and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Education and Experience
- Preference for candidates who can commit to at least one full academic year (excluding summers); a two-year commitment is preferred.
