Position Summary:

The Admissions Officer is responsible for recruiting, advising, and converting prospective students into enrolled students while providing outstanding customer service throughout the admissions process. The position manages student applications, maintains communication with applicants and recruitment partners, supports enrollment initiatives, and collaborates with university departments to ensure a smooth transition from inquiry through registration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent Bay Atlantic University at recruitment events, education fairs, webinars, campus tours, and partner meetings to promote academic programs and strengthen institutional visibility.

Follow prospective student inquiries, applications, and enrollments through targeted outreach and engagement activities.

Collaborate with Marketing, Engagement, Academic Department, Mentora Academic department, Student Services, the Finance Office, the Registrar's Office, and other administrative departments to implement effective online and offline recruitment campaigns and enrollment initiatives.

Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international recruitment partners, educational institutions, agencies, and community organizations to expand the University's recruitment network and support strategic enrollment growth.

Contribute to departmental enrollment goals by maintaining consistent follow-up, managing recruitment activities, and supporting conversion strategies throughout the admissions cycle.

Participate in webinars, workshops, individual advising sessions, office hours, and recruitment events to support prospective students throughout the admissions process.

Prepare communications for prospective students.

Evaluate prospective student applications and guide qualified applicants through the admissions process to achieve enrollment goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, sponsors, educational agents, and other stakeholders to ensure an exceptional admissions experience.

Provide accurate guidance to prospective students regarding admissions requirements, academic programs, university policies, and enrollment procedures.

Conduct proactive follow-up with applicants to encourage application completion, document submission, and enrollment.

Assist the Senior Admissions Officer with daily admissions operations, recruitment activities, and enrollment initiatives.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant records in the University's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other institutional databases.

Coordinate with the Registrar's Office to ensure the timely and accurate processing of admitted student records and enrollment documentation.

Support prospective international students by providing guidance on required admissions documentation, visa-related processes, pre-arrival planning, and transition to the University, while referring immigration‑specific questions to the appropriate Designated School Official (DSO) or authorized personnel.

Respond promptly to inquiries received by phone, email, CRM, and other communication channels, providing professional and timely customer service.

Monitor and respond to inquiries submitted through Bay Atlantic University and Mentora general email accounts, directing requests to the appropriate department when necessary.
