The Records Program Management Specialist provides senior level records governance support, overseeing retention compliance, policy implementation, and program level documentation control. The role leads records audits, ensures adherence to federal records requirements, manages enterprise records processes, and mentors junior records staff.
Roles & Responsibilities- Oversee enterprise records governance and compliance
- Implement records policies, procedures, and retention schedules
- Lead records audits and ensure adherence to federal requirements
- Manage documentation control processes across IRMD
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior records staff
- Ensure secure, compliant, and modern records management practices
- Must have Public trust clearance
- Advanced experience in records management programs
- Knowledge of federal records laws, retention schedules, and compliance frameworks
- Experience leading records audits and governance activities
- Bachelor's degree preferred (information management, library science, business, or related field)
- Professional records management certifications beneficial (e.g., CRM, IGP).
