This position is located in the Division of Insurance and Research, Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for projects related to enhancing the Corporation's programs for identifying, monitoring and addressing existing and emerging risks to the Corporation's Deposit Insurance Fund.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience
1) writing and editing economic or financial analytical articles for publications using relevant software and processes;
2) reviewing written documents for accuracy; and
3) researching information to develop documents and publications.
CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience
1) writing and editing economic or financial analytical articles for publications using relevant software and processes including artificial intelligence tools, word processing, graphics, design and layout, and desktop publishing software;
2) reviewing written documents for accuracy and ensuring they meet current organizational style, policies, and practices; and
3) researching and analyzing information to develop documents and publications.
