Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data stored in organization information systems based on business needs. Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS clearance.

Essential Functions
  • Performs all aspects of data analysis and management.
  • Gathers, analyzes, evaluates, and interprets data stored in organization information systems based on business need.
  • Interprets data and results and assesses and ensures data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provides subject matter expertise regarding the data subject.
  • Writes and compiles reports and other documentation.
  • Ensures data is processed and stored in accordance with agency regulations and standards.
  • Ability to create interactive dashboards using Power BI.
  • Create visualizations per stakeholder requirements.
  • May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise.
  • Follow management system policies, procedures, and work instructions as part of daily job duties.
  • Protect company and customer information by adhering to security and quality requirements.
  • Promptly report incidents, nonconformities, or risks to the appropriate authority.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

Experience
  • Must possess four or more years of data analysis experience.
  • 2-3 years' Power BI dashboard development.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline or related field or equivalent work experience directly within functional area.
Security Clearance

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS clearance.
