Greater Washington Partnership (the Partnership) is a cross-sector alliance of leading employers in Maryland,Virginia,and the District of Columbia committed to championing the region’s economic growth and prosperity. The Partnershipseeksaskilled and motivated individual with knowledge, experience, and interest in education and workforce development in the region from Baltimore to Richmond to join the team as an Associate or a Senior Associate.

The Associate/Senior Associate willjoin the Partnership’s Skills & Talent initiative,which works with employers,educators, nonprofits, and the public sector todevelop and strengthen pathways to high-growth careers.

We’reconnectors across sectors, using convenings,publications, and othercollaborativeinitiatives toalign talent pipelines with employer needs and expand access to opportunities that support economic mobility for learners and jobseekers.

The ideal candidate brings energy and curiosity to theirwork, andis excited by the opportunity to support and advance multiple projects at the same time while fostering relationships with key leaders in workforce development across the region. The level (Associate or Senior Associate) will bedeterminedbased on experience, with Senior Associates expected to take on greater ownership of projects and independently manage work streams.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Support the Skills & Talent team in managing and executing various projects, including grant management, event support, and writing internal and external materials
  • Coordinate stakeholder management, including organizing engagement opportunities and drafting internal and external communications
  • Utilize , Salesforce, and other tools to track deliverables for team initiatives
  • In collaboration with communications & marketing team, write blog posts, newsletters,and other internal and external publications to promote Skills & Talent initiatives
  • Assistin planning for external convenings, including supporting business development & engagement team on event planning and coordinating needed follow-up
  • Provide administrative support for programs, including tracking reports, planning events for scholarship students, anddraftingmaterials
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to track key labor market and workforce development trendsand translate into actionable insights for internal and external audiences
What We Value
  • 0-2 (Associate) or 3-5 (Senior Associate) years of work experience
  • Background in education,human resources, or workforce development preferred but not required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen understanding of how to tailor communication based on audience
  • Deeply collaborative –experienced in and enthusiastic about working across teams and organizations to move work forward
  • Highly organized and able to track and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adaptable and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, primarily Word, Excel, andShare Point
