The Role Entails
Dalian Development is expanding its national portfolio and seeking a Development Analyst to support project coordination, documentation, and operations across the development lifecycle.
You’ll work with senior leadership from feasibility through lease‑up, focusing on project management, cross‑functional coordination, and reporting. With multiple active and upcoming developments, this role offers strong growth potential and the chance to contribute to Dalian’s national expansion.
What You Will Get To Do- Support day‑to‑day project coordination across feasibility, pre‑development, design, permitting, construction, and lease‑up.
- Assist with internal project reporting, tracking schedules, deliverables, risks, and action items.
- Help organize project meetings (design coordination, OACs, internal reviews), including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and managing follow‑ups.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to maintain project momentum and ensure timely delivery of key materials.
- Support due diligence activities, including collection and organization of title, survey, environmental, geotechnical, zoning, and market research materials.
- Assist in tracking permitting requirements and submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide basic financial support, including updating budget trackers, reconciling costs, supporting draw requests, and preparing data for lender and investor reporting.
- Create internal presentations, status summaries, and project documentation to support leadership decision‑making.
- Support site visits and produce organized notes, photo logs, and follow‑up documentation.
- Help coordinate site visits and create structured observations, notes, and photo documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, or related field preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, financial analysis, operations, or related analytical roles; exposure to real estate or development is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams, deadlines, and documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise summaries.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
- Experience supporting cross‑functional project teams in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with project management processes, workflow tools, or reporting structures.
- Exposure to budgeting, cost tracking, or operational analytics.
- Interest in long‑term career growth within real estate development.
