THE ROLE:The Director of Business Development is a senior, revenue-driving role responsible for accelerating new membership growth and sponsorship revenue while building and maintaining strong relationships across the blockchain, fintech, and emerging technology landscape.
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, well-connected professional with experience spanning sales, partnerships, and public policy engagement. The Director will own membership and sponsorship business development, manage the full sales lifecycle, and represent The Digital Chamber across industry and government-adjacent forums.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnership & event sales, or sponsorship sales, ideally within digital assets, emerging technology, fintech, or trade association sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital assets, blockchain, and fintech policy landscape.
- Proven ability to communicate with senior executives and policymakers in both corporate and government settings.
- Excellent presentation, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Self-starter who thrives in a mission-driven, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for conferences, events, and meetings (approximately 30%).
- Team-player and collaborative partner.
